About Meghan

Originally from Marietta, GA, Meghan moved to Oxford in 2000 to attend Ole Miss as a psychology major.

While psychology has always been Meghan's true interest, the world of dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading was always her passion. At the age of 22, Meghan opened a local dance studio which she owned and operated for 10 years.

In that time, Meghan completed a Master's degree in Community Counseling from Ole Miss and completed the licensure hours needed to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).  She worked under supervision at The University of Mississippi Counseling Center focusing on drug and alcohol issues among college students. Further, she worked and trained at Oxford Play Therapy Teaching Institute (OPTTI) to work with children. In 2009, she opened her own practice.

While Meghan earned special training in Play Therapy and has a passion for working with children, living and working in a college town has shifted her clientele focus in recent years.

Having dealt with her own transitional struggles as a college student, Meghan now has a desire to help adolescents and young adults find their way through into "Adulting".

When she is not sitting in her office chair, Meghan can be found at home with her husband and two teenage daughters.
